The Napoleon Complex is comprised of Rodrigo Espinosa (lead guitar/vocals), Dan Damchen (rhythm guitar/keyboards), Tony Distefano (drums), and Carlos Carrillo (bass). Their first release in 2004 was a three song EP Can’t Even Talk English Good Anyway. A full-length fifteen track album How Does Salt Water Mix With Tea? was released in spring 2008, a 5-track called Baby Town came out in March 2009, and their second five-track Handle It was released in 2009.

According to the band, “Our involvement in local and national politics, as well as their relationship with world-renowned intellectuals, has made it impossible for the band to ignore simplicity or apathy.” Led by Espinosa, the Napoleon Complex says it plans to “wake up the bewildered in hopes that every sheep favors independent thought over indoctrination.”
