Based in North County, Gino & the Lone Gunmen perform swing, rockabilly, jump blues, and vintage rock and roll, as well as favorites from Elvis and Buddy Holly to the Cavern Club days of the Beatles.
The group is led by singer/guitarist Gino Meregillano (the Stilettos, No Dice, Fabulous Pelicans, Mo Wasabi, the Guana Batz, Bonneville 7) with bass player Joe Jazdzewski (the Paladins, Billy Watson) and drummer/singer Bob Sales (the Pink Floyd Experience, Rockola). The band has also included stand-up bassist Mark Thomas (Mark Stuart & the Bastard Sons, Moot Davis, Los Mocosos, Pete Anderson) and drummer/audio engineer Mike Trimble, Blake Oswald, and others.
In early 2010, a self-titled full-length CD of original music was released. They played the Viva Las Vegas festival in 2012 and appeared on subsequent compilation albums in the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend series.
Their Idle Hands album was released in 2014 via Heyday Records.
