Originally a duo called Neck and Neck (featuring JT Moring and Annie Rettic), Gemini Junction includes Richie Strell. With members based in Encinitas and Ocean Beach, the three piece folk-Americana-blues band sometimes adds players for live gigs.

An album called Kids Ride Free was released in March 2016.
