Based in southeast San Diego, Cesar “Crhymes” Tellez joined forces with Sicko Records in 2003, appearing on multiple tracks. Citing creative differences, he left Sicko to concentrate on Everkrimes with Ricardo "Everest" Ortiz and Tha COR with Brandon "BGinus" Guaderrama.

2005 saw his involvement in the founding of Internet Rap Radio station DagoSD.com. In 2008, he began collaborating with Bone Thugs n Harmony. His first solo effort One Breath Closer, in 2012. He embarked on the Latin Lockdown 2010 Tour with Lil Uno, Lil Rob, Kid Frost & Lighter Shade of Brown, and the Xplicit Crhyme Payz Mini Tour with longtime friend Lady Xplicit.

In late 2010, he began hosting a Friday night event called Club DagoSD at Lydia's Cafe in Imperial Beach. The following October, he embarked on the Self-Made Self-Paid World Tour with Lady Xplicit.

Crhymes released Evolution of Crhymes in 2012, produced by Evolve One and featuring San Quinn, Caine (of The Life Records), Black Mikey, Young Gee, Big Ev, and others. While shooting a video for the song “Everyday,” a song which features local rappers Black Mikey and Young Gee, Crhymes swears he spotted a UFO.

Also in 2012, he was part of the Latin Lockdown Tour, as well as launching a record label, Crhyme Mate Entertainment, and re-partnering with Sicko Records. Crhyme Mate Entertainment signed artists from San Diego (Big Ev & Thee Husstle) and one from the United Kingdom (Shakezpeare).

After moving away from San Diego, Crhymes hit on hard times. His tour van was impounded in 2012, forcing him to post an online offer to ghostwrite or record for anyone with a few dollars to contribute.

Moving back to southeast San Diego, he released a solo project in 2020 entitled Tu Decades: The Demo Treasures, as well as working on an EP with Spooks, Lowriders n Skateboards. He was also working once again on a rap duo project with partner BGnius, Tha COR.
