Reality ~ Poem
A memory of laughter I hear in my mind; A feeling of hopefullness that lingers behind. Our love had a magic that comes in the night A feeling of surrender of moonlight lit time. But reality has a way of spreading her wings By stealing the moment without leaving a thing. My heart beats with passion, my soul hears you cry My mind feels the numbness your love leaves behind. Each moment I beg for the memories to stay Each second I feel its all slipping away. I long for the fullness I no longer feel. I beg for the peace that your love used to give. The separate todays, make tomorrow a dream. The longed for tomorrows just don't mean a thing.
