The Aerial San Diego Project is an idea that started as a little rock in my shoe the day I took a flight in a Cessna with a co-worker. We flew down the coastline and then got permission to transition from Point Loma down to Coronado island for a look at the Hotel Del. The day we flew was not the best, but when I returned home and began post-processing my images I knew immediately what I wanted to do. I wanted to create a unique collection of art images, and I began thinking of all of the other neat places around San Diego that could be photographed from the air.
