slither dearer near the wilted weeds

i did have a King snake in my yard but unfortunately i wasn't able to talk him/her into staying...dang it!!

I wonder if rattlesnakes know that people are universally afraid of them? And if they do, I also wonder if they consider themselves the badasses of the Southern California snake community?

makes any snake look good by comparison
my back yard opens on to a creek and natural area which i love..but i do have to accept that critters of all kinds paying visits because of that....most of which i love...Bobby feed the birds and i watch them outside the computer table window
they don't like it if a snake drops in..hahahahahahahhahaha
