take some time to read another poet...
this fellow is avant gard and smokin' haught...want a tickle???
check him out
Hemingway's Eyes
this slow soul dance
beleaguered but patient
in the dark's cunning
humming
neglected by empathy's crooning
lying cautiously in wait in Hemingway eyes
"you're quite a cupcake" his voice implied
and my frosting started melting
a whiff of maple syrup
there was no disguising
a mouth watering aroma
his furrowed brow lifting
quizzical thoughts sifting thru his addled brain
bedroom nonchalance in Hemingway's eyes

thx hun...it was written off the cuff after i'd read Mr Rothenberg's poem
tis amusing how much muses affect the average poet Justice130...i read the new poem every week......very few energize me but some definitely do
