voting time reappears
it's hard to avoid the confusion
the candidates all seem sincere
their stories they're all spinning
come with happy endings
so perceive the fatuous jokes
and avoid the rotten yolks
you can tell them by the smell
of lies that don't ring bells
but create a dullard sound
and spread the stink around
let's hope Tuesday
will be a "good news" day
when they count up the amounts
for all the things that count

i wish these people and issues were as transparent as cellophane..unfortunately they r not...mores the pity...i just sent my ballot off today...
fingers crossed...sometimes that's all u can do!!
