FAMILY ART DAY: MIXED MEDIA SCULPTURE
Families can create mixed-media sculptures inspired by two exhibits: In Search of Shadows, by James Hubbell, and Flavia Gilmore’s assemblage Paper, Wood, Metal. Kids will have the opportunity to explore a variety of media and create their own three-dimensional form using wood, paper, styrofoam, tin foil, wire, yarn, and other found objects. Designed to engage children of all ages. No art experience required. Healthy refreshments and kid-centric docent tours will be provided.

In the spirit of Drink the Point in Point Loma and DrinkAbout in North Park, the concept has made its way to Pacific Beach the first Wednesday of every month. Bare Back Grill, Ciro’s Pizzeria and Beerhouse, Tap Room, Cali Kebab, and High Dive are working together to bring awareness to the best beer bars at the beach.
