Heartbreak Ridge Run
Join the Marine corps for a half-marathon on the trails of Camp Pendleton.
Heartbreak Ridge Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and kids 1K--who would have the balls to name an event after the Battle of Wendengli from the Korean War?
The Marine Corps.
The event is an off road run through the Las Pulgas section of Camp Pendleton. Space permitting, there will be day of registration starting at 0600--6:00 a.m. Day of fee is $80.
The Heartbreak Ridge Half is part of the Pendleton Races. This “Hardcore Race Series” features mountain biking events, a triathlon, beach competitions, and a road-cycling race.
As we might expect, all these events are well thought out, impeccably executed, and at bargain prices.
Did you know the Marine Corps routinely returns a percentage of their budget to the Department of the Navy? The Corps gets it done better and under budget.
The Heartbreak Ridge Half is on April 13th at Camp Las Pulgas with check in opening at 6:00 a.m.
