Is cutting off bromobiles downtown and buzzing Hare Krishnas on your bike at Critical Mass no longer giving you that radical renegade rush? Head down to the Tijuana Arch at Avenida Negrete and Calle 1 for an 8 p.m. race against fate. The words pothole and faceplant come up almost every time I ask someone about this ride, so you'll do well to bring a mountain bike, a helmet, and maybe even insurance. Then head to 6th and Revolution and party your guts out, responsibly.

My fault. The ride is every first Friday.

Sign me up! Please tell me the ride includes fish tacos! I just did a solo TJ ride, not for the weak hearted but EPIC non the less. Watch out for dog carcasses, pot holes that could easily swallow you, and cliff-like drop off with no guard rails. Oh, and did I mention the giant, smoke spewing blue buses that stop seemingly everywhere or anywhere with no notice? Really, it's fun riding down there -- it's also quite amazing how much power you can put out when you life depends on it.
