On Friday, February 22, the Adult Puppet Cabaret will team up with Handmade Puppet Dreams for a night of live puppetry, short films, and music at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park.

Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams Vol.4, a touring festival of independent films exploring handmade puppetry designed specifically for the camera, will be screened in MoPA’s movie theater along with Sam Koji Hale award-winning puppet short film, Yamasong.

Films start at 8:20 p.m.

Live performances start at 7:20 with works by Jenna Ann McGillis, Max Daily, Mina J. Donner, Strings-n-Things, and musical guests Nice World (née Nicey Nice World), Justine Babyteeth, and Trio Gadjo.

The Adult Puppet Cabaret was born by Animal Cracker Conspiracy's love of short form puppet theatre and as a way to foster and support new work and adult audiences for puppet theatre specifically in San Diego, CA.”
