Last night my dryer called it quits. We saw it coming. It had been making an alarming sound for weeks, a noise akin to a toddler shrieking. When I went to change out my clothes, between Netflix episodes of "The Walking Dead", I noticed that the items in the dryer were still soaking wet. As a result, today I headed out to 30th Street Coin Laundry in North Park. While there I ran into Ashley Hyman.

Hyman's comic strip-style leggings stuck out. She purchased them in Australia. They are by Black Milk and retail for $75. She wore a Free People belted jacket and sunglasses by Shanghai Tang.

The 22-year-old works as a film tech for Nelson Photo.

24-year-old Sirenia Lopez also sported leggings only hers were solid black. Lopez does not like prints or patterns. She prefers to stick with the basics.

She wore thrifted black ankle boots; a Forever 21 textured pink scarf, and a faux fur vest from Dillard’s.

Lopez is an aspiring fashion designer.
