Osprey nests facilitated by San Diego Unified Port District

Prior to Friday night I had never been to Crest. I exited the 8 at Greenfield and drove up a two lane curvy road to a bungalow on a hill for a friend of a friend's Halloween party. From up there, the sky was littered with hundreds of stars. In attendance were more than a dozen zombies, Sesame Street characters, and slutty princesses.
I was supposed to be dressed as Courtney Love and the husband was to be Kurt Cobain. When we tried on our costumes the husband looked like a drag queen and I looked like a hooker. As a result I ended up borrowing costumes. We went as trekkies. I have never seen an episode of Star Trek so when a trekkie attempted to discuss the show with me he was annoyed over my lack of knowledge.
Dia de los Muertos zombies, Nicole Lettow and Daniel Vachon. Nicole's costume was rented from Gypsy Treasure costume store in La Mesa.
Kevin dressed as The Most Intersting Man in the World (the Dos Equis guy) and Dawn as Katy Perry
Shelby Hartman as Frida Kahlo
Gavin dressed as The Big Bad Wolf
