Whenever I see a woman successfully pull off a pixie haircut, I am overcome with jealousy. My senior year in high school I chopped off all my hair and dyed it platinum blonde. I wanted to look like Twiggy. I did not. For 6 months, until it awkwardly grew out, my classmates bestowed me with the nickname Alien. Never again will I attempt the Pixie.
