Tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego opens both of its locations--downtown and La Jolla--to the public for free.

The museum downtown (1100 & 1001 Kettner Blvd) debuts Ai Wei Wei's zodiac heads, and exhibits light and space installations by James Turrell and Doug Wheeler. The downtown location also holds 25 finalist pieces for the Greedy Organ contest.

The La Jolla location (700 Prospect St) features works by John Valadez, known for "a realist pictorial language recording the Chicano experience in Los Angeles during the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s."
