Yoga for Hope "was born out of City of Hope's efforts to expand awareness of the importance of the mind-body-spirit connection and the hospital's unique approach to utilizing complimentary and integrative therapies such as yoga and meditation in the patient treatment programs." Yoga for Hope will be led by Steve Hubbard , Michael Fukumura, Stacy McCarthy, Bonnie Saldivar-Jones and Claire Petretti. All participants will receive a swag bag, and fundraising participants will receive City of Hope tank tops.

Yoga for Hope will be held on Saturday, August 11 with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m., yoga at 9:00 a.m., and vendors open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The event is located at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront (1 Park Blvd) and registration costs $40 before August 8, and $50 thereafter.
