Borrego Springs High School is holding their second annual half marathon to raise funds for its athletic programs. The half marathon is rapidly replacing the 5K as the recreational event of choice and this sounds like an excellent spur of the moment half to do.

This Borrego edition looks pretty chill. The fee is only $59 and you can register the day of the event starting at 7:00 am. The race begins at 9:00 am. Yes, there will be timing chips and technical tee shirts to add to your collection.

The event is Saturday the 15th at Borrego Springs High School.
