with all the Baja and Border News Translations many of the newer blogs fly off the page so quickly they are only a blur in our peripheral sight....i missed this one and the uber talent of the writer makes that a crying shame

Oedipus wrote a first prize winning blog last August when he was just a nubie in Hillcrest http://www.sandiegoreader.com/weblogs/ajacobs/2010/aug/31/voyage-with-mother-on-piggyback/

Rickeysays commented Oedipus, you whip the language like a jockey whips a horse.

Rickey is right!!

well he's done it again and MORE then deserves a REDO on the blog page

u may not have the taste for the subject....but if u r hungry for some fantabulous writer's exciting words... go give this youngster a read

OMG!! I did not think anything would get me back to posting on The Reader, but this was one of the BEST things I have read in a really long time. I did not want it to end. This should be in The New Yorker.
