a tired form

proof of a long

work day

nothing wrong

an honest way

certainly ,

not a lot

to show

for the effort

in real currency

energy

enough

to buy stuff

to eat , necessities

i find for

now not

wanting anymore

realizing

this serenity is sacred

the guardian of my peace

so much so ,

i would die for it

known myself

a world of

purpose fleeting

society demands

on me and you

a certain amount of respect

no mystery

a history

too bold

obligations overdue

not so old

to earn that , yet again

sacrifice required

a wince of pain

and another

to be forgiven by angered

onlookers

what will tomorrows

witness want

greater or lesser

pressure

delayed

today an evenings

rest

well earned
