"Pressure disguised as love"..."not all expectations fulfilled, can't care". Lots of thoughts triggered by these words. Lots of good loving lost to the expectations we place on others/ourselves or--more importantly I think--those we assume others are placing on us.T'is a shame really.

And I ask myself a lot these days, is love meant for holding onto or for giving? Is it something we hold within us or something we emit, is it self serving or meant to serve others? Why is it we resist it when it brings such joy? Why do we have such trouble with something that comes so easily, complicate that which is ultra simplistic? Is it a noun or a verb? Is it enough--love?

I've only managed to answer a few of these. Always interesting to read your--a man's--perspective. Thank you for posting this.
