While sitting "here" drinking my coffee and eating a donut I realized I am currently in a coffee and donut phase. Can't say for sure how long this particular mid morning phase will last ...but after a few weeks of coffee ( small house ) and donut ( usually just one glazed ) I know that I am in the midst of a phase ...kinda like a short-term ritual or temporary habit . See I am none too concerned about it being permanent. Remember my Mom saying " Oh its only a phase he's going through" so I always have that to rely on - right ?

This particular phase ...a mid-morning caffeine and sugar injection is quite pleasant .Even if I eat breakfast I still find time for my coffee and donut break. Now that I have noticed it ...my discovery process starts with noticing it and then casually analyzing it and finally accepting it . All about acceptance .

I have experianced many phases through out my life and have enjoyed ...let me think...yes, I believe I have enjoyed all of them. Don't you do things for some sort of pleasure ...even a cigarette smoker I imagine enjoys smoking. So even though my partying with strippers phase probably knocked a few years off my life expectancy I enjoyed that phase .

Geesh can't imagine listing all of my phases ...one comes to mind a Blonde phase but I already mentioned that one above. I've gone through a long and short hair phase and now I am in a shaved head - cause I am bald- phase. I am definately in a bicycle phase ...everyday,yes everyday I am on my bike usually morning and evening and even though this phase came about out of necessity -my car died and I chose not to repair it - this is a wonderfully healthy phase I am currently experiancing.

I don't feel so bad riding my bike for a donut compared to pulling up and falling out of a big cushy car seat. America needs to get off their butts and out of their cars -once in awhile - that's my message to Americans for improving their health and well being..

That's alot for me to say ...so time to split and go for a bike ride.
