Bus riders at Lemon Grove Trolley Station are outraged at some of the comments regarding the report from Monday, November 2, 2009.  Many said they will be visiting the San Diego Reader web site to post their views and additional details.

 Jeremy Foster posted: “Boy, it’s not nice to make fun of someone just trying to help out a lady. So what if the Microsoftie forgot to report my racial background. No one is perfect!”

 Marylou Hughes added: “Lots of witnesses who ride the bus are upset at some of the comments here. Those lemons were probably dropped by someone or they could have come from the trees near the bus stop. But Foster did not have to be racially identified because no one is on the lookout for him. Give your writer a break!!!!”
 The Lemon Grove Trolley Station is a major transit center with a many visitors who welcome the shade of the lemon grove that grow north to south along the trolley tracks.  Often there are several homeless people enjoying the shade as well.  Of course they are often seen eating a lemon or two as well.
