Filner blocks citizens on Facebook for criticizing his Plaza De Panama support

This is starting to feel like invasion of the body snatchers where these people posture that they are your friends and want to hear your opinions and concerns and then make a concerted effort to silence those opinions.

I posted a comment on Filner's Mayoral Facebook page a few weeks ago stating my disappointment that he changed his mind and is now supporting Plaza De Panama -- again not a personal attack whatsoever -- I said I was looking forward to voting for him and now I was really disappointed that I could not support him.

So I went there today to express concern about his alignment with the notoriously corrupt affordable housing developers only to find that Filner has blocked me from making comments. Maybe it's reverse discrimination, but I kind of expect this behavior from Republicans yet the 2 San Diego politicians that have blocked me from commenting are Democrats, Todd Gloria and Bob Filner.

What a bummer. This mayoral race is exactly like the Presidential race. There is NO choice whatsoever. They will both be exactly the same.

I voted Obama last time, not happy with him. Left me Romney, until I read the Matt Taibbi piece in Rolling Stone magazine and how he destroyed good companies and shipped manufacturing jobs overseas, cannot vote for him now...so who's left??

I am "writing in" Hilary Clinton. Protest vote.

Its truly troubling to see this total assault on free speech. I am bummed. I initially really liked Filner, but he is a shill and will be just as bad as De Maio. Its very disturbing to see how they create false narratives in social media where people spend so much time discussing issues and where people go to get a finger on the pulse. The create a false sense of support for things like the privatization of Balboa Park.

I for sure WONT vote for Obama. He just passed drilling for oil in the arctic and a bill to slaughter 45000 wild horses that roam free on BLM land because he wants to hand federal land to SDGE for "alt energy", destroying eco-systems in the process. He is disgusting.

good point about obama changing his mind. and yes, the mormons are inordinately good at making money...maybe they could get us out of this mess...
