Ex-San Diego assistant chief of police Norm Stamper, who lost out to Jerry Sanders for the job of top chief way back in 1993 before leaving for Seattle to become chief of police there, is now
Once a fruitcake... always a fruitcake...
Stamper was no fruitcake, even though he let dope-crazed proles trash his city of Seattle during the World Trade Organization riots a few years ago. I thought he was a classy, intelligent guy with a lot more on the ball than either Bill Kolender or Jerry Sanders, both of whom sold out to the San Diego establishment.
