Have fun getting a job at Qualcomm if you do not have an engineering degree.
Gov gives this package, and more, to all new employees.

Response to post of 1:31 p.m. There used to be a lot of part-time employees at Qualcomm, too. I assume that is still true. Best, Don Bauder

JohhyVegas,
Qualcomm is an engineering company. What did you think they were going to hire???
Don Bauder Jan. 23, 2008 @ 5:39 p.m.
Response to post of 4:05 p.m.: The non-engineers it has been paying -- namely, those lawyers who concealed key information from opponents in a lawsuit-- didn't help Qualcomm. Best, Don Bauder

Qualcomm really like outsourcing, hiring lower wage demanding foreign H1-B visa workers, engineers than can reverse engineer it's competetors technology and it's competetors employees. Yes, there is a crime behind every fortune.

Response to 11:14 p.m. post: Those kinds of details are generally overlooked by a magazine compiling a list on some topic. Best, Don Bauder
