Chew Lamburger, Cheer Rugby
Listen up, Rugby World Cup fanatics (and we know who we are): Bare Back Grill, the Kiwi organic burgers 'n beer place in PB (4640 Mission Boulevard, 858-274-7117)...
...will stay open for the final between the New Zealand All Blacks and France through Saturday night, Sunday morning. Game starts at 1 a.m.
Only problem? Lamb burger lovers (and we know who we are) will have to get their (luscious juicy, blue cheese and mint-doused) lamburger fix ($12) by midnight. Because that’s when the kitchen’s closing down.
“And our liquor license stops at one,” says the guy behind the bar. “So it’ll be chips, salsa, and soda from then on."
But all's not lost, quite. Their downtown eatery/drinkery's license lasts till 2 a.m., so you’ll be able to get in a few brewskis there.
Downtown Bare Back Grill’s at 624 E Street (between Sixth and Seventh), 619-237-9990.
