If I ever had a new aria to learn I would listen to Gedda first in order to make sure I was “doing it right.”

I always find the Urban Trees on Harbor Drive inspiring. This year, there's a particularly fun kaleidoscope a little north of the Star of India. You can look through it and turn the various knobs to create an infinite number of patterns in various colors.
You can easily put your camera into the kaleidoscope viewfinder and take a picture of the patterns. I suppose you could then upload your creations to any of the popular photo websites and make interesting note cards to send your friends. Or maybe make them into trippy desktop images for your computer.
