No, just $peculation on the motivations behind splitting The Hobbit into three films. The part about the first installment making a billion dollars is true, though.

Peter Jackson's hardly trying anymore. That hobbit film was unwatchable at times. The trip through goblin town was like a 1980s video game. The stone giant scene was dumb. Rivendell, which is supposed to be a merry place full of merry elves looked like a grey tomb filled with angry elves. Thorin looked like a pouty leather aficionado from Hillcrest with that perfectly trimmed little beard. Curse you, Peter Jackson.
