Lessee, now...Steven Spielberg is reported to be close to directing a Moses picture that features the "gritty reality of Saving Private Ryan," and is "a real warrior movie." (Lest anyone forget, the first great military victory of Moses' life? It was against Egypt. Drowning in the Red Sea and all that.) And the very next day, a lawyer for Egypt's interior minister says that Israel's "strategic goal is to destabilize Egypt," and that it was an agent in the revolution that deposed longtime ruler Hosni Mubarak.
