It was only a matter of time. I mean, he'd already done it with the ruby slippers. And Disney is still the undisputed king of merchandising tie-ins. So yeah, word came down today that fancy shoe guy Christian Louboutin "was invited by Disney to bring Cinderella to life with a fashion forward twist. As part of this collaboration, Louboutin will design a Cinderella slipper putting his own magic touch on the world’s most famous pair of shoes."

Presumably, Louboutin's fashion-forward twist on the glass slipper will be nothing like the Lucite stripper heels now on sale at bootycocktails.com:
