Free Outdoor Screening of Toy Story 3 Tonight
The good news is, there's a free screening of Toy Story 3 at Liberty Station tonight. The bad new is, summer's over and this will be our last outdoor event of the season.
In case you missed the biggest grossing film of 2010 ($415,004,880!), or just want to see it again somewhere other than your living room, here is your chance to catch it on the big screen. This month's edition of Summer Movie Mania is being held in the Northeast corner of the station, back by the harbor and Marriott Courtyard Inn. Don't take my word for it -- here's a map!
The show commences around sunset (6:43) with a classic short. Concessions will be sold, or you can just bring your own sodas and Ziploc bags jammed with Orville Reddenbacher, no questions asked. They will also be raffling off prizes from various Liberty Station restaurants and shops.
Come early, but please, don't stay late. You have never seen me move so fast as when I'm tearing down a screen to call it a night, particularly when there's a new addition to the video vault (the Criterion edition of Powell and Pressburger's The Small Back Room) that demands my immediate attention!
