What if Erin Brockovich was a dude with a drug problem? And because the dude is buff guy Chris Evans, his chest is just as prominent! Evans's ridiculous physique aside (was Giovanni Ribisi not available?), points awarded for not working too hard to pretty up the story of a self-destructive young lawyer who stumbles into a chance to take on the big bad medical manufacturing bastards allegedly responsible for the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Points detracted for bombast — see previous sentence. Would you believe this started out as a story about protecting nurses?
