Well, there it is for all to see and read, an article in Forbes. The article is entitled:
"America's Worst Cities To Be A Sports Fan"
It states: "Lining up behind Miami for the booby prize is San Diego".
Chargers and Padres combined winning percentage is .425 (26th place). This study was limited to the 4 major sports franchises, cities with at least 2. The economic basis was the median household income($47,067) from the census bureau. The cost was based on the prices of 4 tickets, 2 small beers, 4 small sodas, 4 hot dogs, parking, 2 programs & 2 inexpensive (in San Diego??) team caps.
In otherwords, San Diegans cannot really afford to go to see the Padres or Chargers play.
I hope this gets passed on to Mr. Moores & Mr. Moorad. Can they imagine how it feels to be a fan and see a headline, quoted above, knowing that the city of your fanship is number 2 in the nation??? WORST
Now that it is in print for all to see, Mr. Ballweg, you don't need to take our word for it. Now everybody knows we pay way, way too much for the pleasure of seeing games in San Diego. This can be fixed. You can work your way out of the top 10. It is simple, lower the prices.
On another topic, she is now being called, Octomom. I still am in disbelief that any doctor would agree to do this procedure on a woman with 6 children at home. It is just crazy. The below was an AP poll:
Would you read a book by or watch a TV show featuring Nadya Suleman?
No way! 94%
You bet! 6%
Total Votes: 77,119
Would you consider donating money to help Suleman raise her family?
No 94%
Maybe 4%
Yes 2%
Total Votes: 79,488
So long

Wow Sandra (Ms. Keener)! Congratualations on your award. That's really great. Best blog, huh? That's really something to be proud of. Just one thing before you go gettin' all overly excited ... I work for the San Diego Padres Front Office and know Jim Ballweg personally. I happened to ask him today if he read your piece. Quote: "Didn't see it. Send it to me though." Many Blessings for your valiant efforts but you didn't have anything to do with the price cuts.
Sorry, TheDodgersSuck
