South Park Cat Tales: A Brief Timeline (#2)

October 19, 2009 A.D.C.

You'd think being an indoor cat leaves little to talk about in the events department but I'd have to disagree with you. And not just because you're an Uprighter. You can't help that. But I'd disagree because as one of the more exciting species, felines never get bored. If you didn't know this already, well, now you know. Don't say I never did anything for you.

Here is a timeline of my day that I kept for you:

6:37am: Well, Two Legs is still asleep. I have pawed at his nose, his mouth and his forehead, and he still won't budge more than to tell me to leave him alone. I don't want food, the place is not on fire... I just want him to know that I'm still here. Now he knows. My job is done. Back to sleep.

7:48am: Ok, that loud noise that seems to go by several times an hour... it can stop now. Ever since we moved to this place I have dealt with it. But again, it can stop now. Seriously.

*(Poster's Note: I think she's talking about the buses, which I have no control over. You'd think the planes flying over would freak her out too but no, she just sits in the window and watches them go by.)

9:12am: Two Legs finally woke up. I heard him mumble something but it was in Uprighter so I didn't understand it.

*(Poster's Note: I've been having insomnia issues lately and really wanted to sleep more but once I woke up this morning, my brain kept me up. I was cursing my mind.)

I came out from one of my favorite spots, under the bed, so Two Legs knew I was around and that it was time for my daily treats. He gives me some every morning for being me. Can't blame him, really. I mean, look at me.

10:49am: Chased the toy mouse around some. Well, I shouldn't say chased. I should say just batted it around some. The thing isn't even alive. What kind of toy is this? Sometimes Two Legs will pick it up, I'll scream, "Make it dance!" and he'll throw it, but then when I finally get to it... it just lays there. Maybe it's playing dead, trying to trick me into walking away so it can get away. Oh wait, it's NOT ALIVE. I hope you note the sarcasm, Two Legs.

*(Poster's Note: Sorry, no mice in the apartment. I've witnessed first-hand what you all do to mice and I don't need the mess everywhere. Oh, and noted.)

2:27pm: Just woke up from a me-nap. After the mouse incident, I was a little tuckered out so I found a spot in the sun and closed my eyes. Next thing I know the sun moved and took time with it. I think I'll go see what Two Legs is doing. I bet his lap could use some warmth.

5:03pm: Two Legs just left. He does that. Leaves me here by myself with these fake mice. Sometimes he comes home smelling like I could eat him but I won't. Not until he's asleep, of course.

8:51pm: Pawing out my little message to you all.

Now, there are a lot of other things that happened in between the times I mentioned here but to list them all would take forever and quite honestly, I just don't want to. But now you have an idea as to how my day goes. Sometimes Two Legs is here more often, sometimes he's not. I still fill my time wisely. Like now because now it's time for a bath and a nap until Two Legs gets home.
