A good year for women on film, as exemplified in new releases The Eyes of My Mother, Miss Sloane, and more

Saturday mornings are fun. We usually take the dogs to garage sales with us. It was raining this morning. Not many garage sales. We did go to the bi-annual rummage sale at Madrid Manor. Old people and there stuff! The people there are great! they are all trying to make a buck. We have been going to this sale for years and it always seems like the same stuff!. The tables were full of old books and tupperware! The aisles were crowded as always! Lots of tools, guys keep their tools! I overheard one old man. tell his friend that their were some people there that were looking at stuff with special magnifiers! He was amazed! I had my loupe in my pocket. I usually don't show my hand until I know it is worth looking at. I bought the rest of his shiny baubles. I also bought a box of vintage postcards. I love the rain! The rain waters my trees! The leaves are just soaking up the moisture. The flowers are gathering energy to unfold in the sun. The orange blossoms are just starting to peek. We will have lots of roses this spring.
