Priya Narthakii is the successful entrepreneur and Chief Happiness-Enabling Officer of the San Diego-based company Happyastic. As a Certified Life, Business & Success Coach, a Certified International Yoga Instructor, creator of From The Mat to What Matters yoga style, and a Certified Internet Marketer, Priya leads Happyastic to provide new ways of helping clients become the happiest person they know by focusing on integrating mind, body, and heart. Priya is also the talk radio host of Yoga Mat Optional, author of the book The Breath Bath: 4 Steps to Breathe Your Way to the Ultimate Makeover and soon to be released book The Happy Pact: The Book On Love & Relationships That Will Make You The Happiest Couple You Know and founder of My Heart Full of Love, a charitable initiative created in honor of her brother (Sumanth Suresh, 1985-2013) to provide specially designed yoga classes to individuals with Downsyndrome. As a professional Indian classical dancer, performer and choreographer, Priya started her dancing career by making her first stage appearance at the tender age of 2½ years and has been acclaimed by critics and connoisseurs as a “child prodigy.” Under the meticulous and intense guidance of her mother and mentor – Uma Suresh, Founder and Creative Director of Natya Priya Dance Academy in San Diego, Priya has given over 350 performances has appeared in prestigious venues around the world receiving distinguished honors from eminent masters of dance and music, including the title of “Nritya Deepika” (Dancing Flame) for her notable lyrical grace and finesse of movements. Priya has been endowed with the divine gift of talent and focused dedication and is a remarkable artiste who presents classically-based repertoires through avant-garde eyes inspired by her spiritually driven intellectualism and intrinsic passion for the art. Through her command of classicism Priya presents the finer nuances of the art with ease, utilizing both powerful physicality and intense emotions, drawing the viewer into the experiences she creates on stage. She shares her time providing direction to Happyastic, coaching, creating art, interior decorating, world-travelling, meditating and spending time with her husband, 6 year old son, Sahanav and 4 month old daughter Vimarsha.
