I found Ms. Salaam's review an engaging piece. Her weaving a story about the New York Voices and the performance itself was a refreshing contrast to typical negative tone performance reviews. Her recruiting the views of audience members in a critique of the orchestra and its leader was a nice touch and reportorial technique that added credibility and connection for this reader.
