My very first "professional" tattoo. Done in 1992 by Tom at Avalon in P.B., it is a cover-up of a tattoo that I had done myself when I was 13, of the number 13, and so cool at the time. (or so I thought). It is definitely a conversation starter as people are constantly asking me, "what time is it?" Kind of lame. It sure proved that tattoos can be addictive, as I have had many, larger pieces done since then. I would still be getting them except that I have Lupus, and don't heal quickly.
