Grandmothers Day and Grandfathers Day (Archcathedral Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul on the Cathedral Island in Poznan, Basilica Minor). On 18 January 2013, in the cathedral city a mass was celebrated in the intention of grandparents. His Excellency Bishop Gregory Balcerek presided over the Eucharist. Liturgy was accompanied by the ‘Gloria Deo’ Ensemble from the St. George parish church (Swoboda Street). After the mass there was a concert of Christmas carols. It was the first concert (caroling) of this team in the Cathedral, an occasion honored by Archbishop of Poznan presence. All grandparents along with their families were welcome visitors (warm welcome extended).
