The St. Onuphrius Old Altar in the Corpus Christi Church in Poznan (Shooting Street). Four legends on the bronze plaques: 1. Bribed by Jews woman steals Holy Hosts from the Dominican Fathers’ Church (‘Przekupiona przez zydow niewiasta kradnie hostie sw. w kosciele O.O. Dominikanow’), 2. Jews stab the stolen hosts (‘Zydzi kluja skradzione hostje’), 3. Bishop collects, along with the clergy, the stolen Holy Hosts in a meadow and carries Them in solemn procession to the city (‘Biskup z duchowienstwem zbieraja hostje sw. na lace i odnosza je w uroczystem pochodzie do miasta’), and 4. Both King Ladislaus Jagiello and Queen Hedvig lay the foundation stone for the Corpus Christi Church (‘Wladyslaw Jagiello i krolowa Jadwiga klada kamien wegielny pod kosciol Bozego Ciala’, in the picture).
