Organ Gallery / Choir Loft (St. Adalbert Church in Poznan). This Gothic three-nave church, with a sacristy and wooden belfry, is characterized by its Art Nouveau murals (interior with secessionist polychromy), unique wonderful vaulted network, and Mannerist side altars dating from around 1630. The stylized high altar features a Late Gothic relief of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Wit Stwosz School). During World War II services of divine worship were conducted only in the two churches in Poznan: the St. Adalbert’s and Our Lady of Sorrows Church (Saint Lazarus Housing Estate).
