A Festive Air: 2012 Central Corpus Christi Procession (St. Peter and St. Paul Archcathedral Basilica in Poznan). Thousands of Poznanians walked in central procession. The faithful participated in the solemn procession on the route to the fourth altar, this year on the Bishop Jordan Bridge instead of the square before the cathedral. A permanent route goes from the Corpus Christi Church, through the Garbary Street and Chwaliszewo Estate, into the Cathedral Island. Archbishop of Poznan delivered a homily calling the faithful to the responsibility. In Poland, Corpus Christi falls on the Thursday after the Octave of Pentecost, so this movable feast day is always celebrated 60 days after Easter.
