Gothic Portal ‘Founded 1250’ (the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Consolation Church/Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary, Jesuits in Poznan). On the western facade there is a valuable early Gothic portal of simple construction dated around 1250 (three pairs of columns with stone bases and capitals, formed from lightweight, molded bricks). The ogival archivolt is ornamented with delicate fittings. The portal becomes narrow into the entrance. It was probably modeled on the portal in the St. James church in Sandomierz.
