The Little Engine That Could. Pictured here was a proposed
Eco-Trolley to the beach proposed by San Diego Railway Partners in 1999
making use of remnants of the Coronado Belt Line Railroad around San
Diego Bay. Too Bad Steve Peace, David Malcolm and Greg Cox had other
plans for the historic railroad right-of-way which could have provided
an economic pipeline to cash strapped Imperial Beach without impacts to
traffic or parking.
