Sad day when huge, ugly power lines have to mar our beautiful California landscape.It is happening everywhere but the story in the San Diego County back country is particularly troublesome. It has taken a lot of effort by regular people to fight this monster project. Let's find more local renewable energy and avoid sending it out of our region to parts north.— May 29, 2009 8:20 p.m.
