Cops’ Lot
First of all, not sure where that photo is from, but it isn't ocean beach. 2ndly, the pier parking lot was NOT the police staging station, the main lifeguard tower parking lot was and as such, was closed the night before. 3rdly, and this is FACT, the police WERE making some Rv's leave the pier parking lot, and the beach lots because the Rv's were either not parked in the appropriate stalls, or they were too large for the stalls. Whomever wrote this "news" article is mistaken. Maybe they drank too much and got their weekends confused. The previous weekend on Saturday was the OB street fair, and yes, the pier parking lot was closed at that time.— July 8, 2009 2:47 p.m.
