San Diegans in their 20s don't make enough for rent
Holy crap, a 14-18 year old makes $12K a year? That's insane. Back in the late 60's, when I was 14-15, it took me a year and a half to save $800, and that was good money back then.— February 28, 2013 5:20 a.m.
San Diego, haven for pyramids
Visduh, here is one Amyway product that is best of breed. http://www.amway.com/Shop/Product/Product.aspx?it… And Don, here's a good example of Wal-Mart's anti-social business activity(which I really don't understand, as if low prices, profits, and competition are anti-social).http://nhregister.com/articles/2013/…— February 11, 2013 2 p.m.
TV and video games may intensify violence
Well, the Roman Circus was extremely popular and appealed to a significant constituency, and look where it is today.— February 8, 2013 8:08 a.m.
San Diego, haven for pyramids
Amway's expensive, but there are a few of their products I repeatedly buy because of the high quality. My Amway rep has repeatedly tried to recruit me, but there's no way I'd volunteer to take a pay cut compared to what I do.— February 8, 2013 8:05 a.m.

My alma-mater, which isn't known as a football school, ended up ranked 18th, where did Wisconsin-Madison finish? We like to say that our football players know the difference between Socrates and Sophocles, as NU has a rather scholarly team. However, I suspect that professional football will go the way of the asbestos industry within the next couple of decades, as it should. When the litigation ball gets rolling, more lawsuits, and insurance becomes cost prohibitive, I suspect the people in charge will revisit the merits of football.— February 2, 2013 1:24 p.m.
Elizabeth and Thomas Coldicutt used Mary Pickford fandom to bilk investors
Hope they nail them. I hate fraudulent brokers. I like shells, and here;s a good source to kick the tires on a few shell corporations. Excellent way to go public without an expensive IPO. http://www.mergernetwork.com/index/public-shell-c…— January 24, 2013 9:44 a.m.
Guns: Meese warns Obama could be impeached
Which one is the assault rifle? It is the same gun http://modernsurvivalonline.com/wp-content/upload…— January 18, 2013 3:37 p.m.
Guns: Meese warns Obama could be impeached
But MSNBC is just as bad a Fox, I want both of then to go away;— January 18, 2013 3:33 p.m.
Guns: Meese warns Obama could be impeached
While there is clearly a bull market in guns, the next bull market is going to be in ammunition, which is already in short supply.— January 18, 2013 3:30 p.m.
Economy for 2013: San Diego worse than state, nation?
But as speculators drive up RE or any other prices, they signal to the producers to produce more product. When speculators see too much inventory of anything, they sell, driving prices down, and again signaling the producers to not produce as much product. This is for anything, not just RE, stocks, bonds, commodities, anything with a market will have speculators. It's not a perfect system, but is the best there is, certainly much better than central planning.— January 7, 2013 6:05 a.m.
