Hoax Email Claims US Attorney Laura Duffy Now Targeting Storefront Pharmacies
I never would have thought to question the validity of this email, but now that I know its fake, it screams hoax. It insinuates that money from the sale of confiscated property would go to directly to law enforcement agencies, which even if true (it's not), law enforcement would never admit it was a primary motive. A public prosecutor would never (at least publicly) claim "I decide how and when to enforce laws." There are several grammatical errors. And how about the assertion that kids are illegitimately using and overdosing on aspirin? But I totally would have fallen for it too.— July 31, 2012 8:26 p.m.
